Premium Ceremony Description

The Premium Custom ceremony is our top of the line offering. We'll pull out all the stops to make your ceremony a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. You can use our wide array of ceremony resources, or we'll craft a customized ceremony from scratch.

We'll suggest ideas for each facet of your ceremony and tell you what has worked (and what hasn't) for other couples. You can include as many people as you like in your ceremony and we'll coach them every step of the way. You don't need to ask, "Is it possible to...?" The answer will always be a resounding "YES!" (as long as it's legal!) . We'll get together and write a draft of your ceremony approximately two months before your wedding e-mail it to you for revision and editing and make whatever changes you want until it's just the way you want it. You will have a final written script of your wedding two weeks prior to the event. And we'll make sure we get to know you both personally, so that we may, with your permission, tell a personal story or two at your ceremony.

The Premium Custom ceremony includes our attendance at your rehearsal, where we'll take care to make sure everything runs smoothly for the real thing! On your wedding day, we'll arrive 60 minutes prior to your ceremony and serve as an informal coordinator to make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time and as relaxed as we can help everyone to be. We'll coordinate with your other ceremony vendors to ensure that we are all on the same page. And, if something should go amiss on the big day, you can be sure that our experience and sense of humor will smooth over any trouble spots. We've learned there is no "disaster" that a relaxed attitude and a good laugh can't fix!

A Word About Pricing

We are truly committed to serving couples of ALL budget levels. Subsequently, our prices range from under $20 (for our Do-It-Yourself Wedding Ceremony E-Kit) to over $600 (for our pull-out-all-the-stops Premium Custom Ceremony)

Yes, that's quite a large range! It's difficult to quote a price without knowing the full scope of your circumstances: your officiant preferences, amount of customizing you want in the ceremony, if you want us to facilitate your rehearsal, the simplicity/complexity of your service, whether you want to meet with your officiant in person (or if telephone consults will suffice), your ceremony location etc. We've found the best way to give couples an accurate and firm quote is to chat briefly about these variables.

We encourage couples to establish a realistic budget for all of their wedding vendors. We also acknowledge and respect that each couple will want to prioritize their spending differently for various parts of their wedding day. To that end, we offer a variety of officiating services and products so that every couple may have the ceremony they seek at a price that is both affordable for them and compensates our wedding officiants fairly for their expertise, experience, time, energy, creativity and professionalism.

On average, you should expect to pay in the high $100s to low $200s for a small alternative-to-the-courthouse elopement ceremony, the mid-$200s for a traditional pre-written ceremony (for any number of guests) with minimal edits and no rehearsal, high $300s for a totally customized wedding ceremony with in-person meetings with your officiant. Expect to pay an additional $100-$125 to add a rehearsal.

And if your wishes fall in between the above levels, then expect to pay a price that is in between the aforementioned pricing.
